Charadriiformes is the order of birds that includes shorebirds like sandpipers, plovers, stilts, and avocets, each of which is represented on this stranded knit cowl. Mixed flocks of shorebirds can often be seen wading into water or running along the breaking waves at the ocean shore. This cowl is perfect for keeping warm when shorebirding, which often involves visiting the beach in the early spring or late fall when there is still a chill in the air.
